The construction of the apartments, which involves an investment of 9.5 million, will be completed in July, so they will be ready for occupation at the beginning of next academic year. In the coming weeks a committee formed by representatives of the UDL and Factor Habast will determine the criteria for awarding them and the rent, which will be between 200 and 300 euros.
In addition to cleaning and security servics, they will have common spaces: a 125-square-metre garden, rooms for study, reading and recreation, a laundry, a multipurpose room, and parking for vehicles and bicycles. The apartments are located in the Garden City expansion area, near the ETSEA and Health Sciences campuses.
