The device operates by using a low-cost camera that captures the user’s actions in front of the screen: head movements are translated into a displacement of the mouse on the screen and facial movements are converted into different ways of clicking. As Palacín explained, the system incorporates various innovations, such as the use of computer vision algorithms, which were initially developed in the field of mobile robotics.
This software can be installed and executed on any PC that incorporates a webcam without any additional cost
